Hair Products I Love šŸ˜

Updated: Oct 8, 2023

Ā

Since 2015, I have not dyed my hair! After having sew in extensions for a few months, I took them out and my hair was up to my ear from being so thin! My hair is naturally thick and strong, but not that time. Because of my horrible experience, I was determined to keep my hair as healthy as possible to get it back the way I wanted. I started by baby trims every 3-6 weeks. During this journey to healthy hair, I wanted to share all my hair secrets with you!

I start my morning with a shower and use Biolage Shampoo and Conditioner. The one pictured above is one of my favorite types they have. Itā€™s for frizzy hair and really does a good job at hydrating.

I have been using Biolage for years and their purple shampoo, pictured below, is great for brassy blonde hair that you need to tone up a few shades. You can buy the Biolage Shampoo here and the Conditioner here. If you prefer a cheaper and smaller bottle you can purchase this one for $19 here.

To get this awesome Biolage Purple Shampoo in the picture above and achieve a lighter tone for your hair you can get it here.

This is truly heaven in a bottle! As soon as I get out of the shower and dry my hair with a towel, I spray ā€Its A 10ā€ Leave-In Conditioner. This makes my hair super soft after blow drying and cuts down on all frizz. I had one hair stylist introduce this product to me years ago and never stopped using it and I tell all my friends about it! This really adds shine and leaves it silky smooth. For only $18, this is a steal! Get yours now here.

After prepping my hair, I blow dry it with a Hot Tools Hair Dryer. Normally I wouldnā€™t recommend a hair dryer but since getting this particular one, it has cut down a lot of time when trying to dry my hair. This dryer has different heat temperatures, comes with a hair diffuser, and two other attachments. Be careful using it on the hottest setting because it can dry out and damage your hair! You can get this on Amazon here.

After my hair is dry I add hair oil. I swear by this oil! The first time I used this I never went back. This particular one cuts down on frizz and puts more shine to your hair. Some hair oils are greaser than others I noticed. The Redken diamond oil has silicone which locks to the strands of your hair and which keeps it from getting out of control. Iā€™ve been using it for 2 years now. The other hair oil I recommend that isn't as expensive is Moroccan oil. This second oil is equally as good but does not contain silicone. You can get the Redken oil here and the Moroccan oil here.

When it comes to styling my hair I cannot live without these tools. My curling wand has been my life saver for a long time. I use the Hot Tools Curling Wand. Using this wand you can achieve many different curling hairstyles. You aren't set to just one size. It has many different temperatures and heats up in just 1 minute.

Another product Iā€™ve slowly fell in love with over the years is the BabyBliss Straightener/Curler. Again, has many different temperatures but you can also curl with it. The BabyBliss makes your hair super straight when it comes to doing its job. I think any type of hair can handle both of these hair tools. To buy the Hot Tools Wand click here and to get the BabyBliss Straightener go here.

The last item I want to recommend is the Pantene Gold Series Hair Mask. I didn't have much confidence in this product for some reason but I tried it anyway. I picked this up one day at a drug store. Use it in the shower on wet hair for 10-15 minutes then rinse. This is also another way I keep my hair hydrated and healthy during the cold months or hot summers. Itā€™s great to use this 1-2 times a week to prevent split ends as well. This mask is also very cheap for a hair mask for only $14.99! To get it now click here.

These are the products and hair tools I currently use everyday. I get a lot of questions on social media about what I use and figure it would be easiest to write it as a blog. If you click on the links it will take you directly to Amazon to buy each item. Hope you guys enjoyed reading and also hope this helps you out to the path of healthy hair!
